Today isn’t just a day to get together with your families and eat burgers on the grill. While that’s all well and good, I’d like you to remember the soldiers, the brave men and women that fight to keep your country safe. While you may not agree with the war they’re fighting, we all must agree that these people are worthy of our recognition.
And so, today I say thank you to all those that have served before me, all those who are serving now, and all those who will serve in the future.
It’s truly an honor to be counted among your ranks.
